A forest ranger discovers he has the ability to enter photographs and investigates his fathers death, leading him to discover his brother was the culprit. 8 x 10 Tasveer is a 2009 Indian Hindi-language Crime Drama motion picture featuring Akshay Kumar, Ayesha Takia, Sharmila Tagore, Jaaved Jaaferi, Javed Jaffrey, Girish Karnad and Caryn Pitcher. SIC Productions in association with Mirah Entertainment. were the production houses involved in the project along with executive producer(s) Bhushan Kumar, Nagesh Kukunoor, Shailendra Singh, Devika Bahudhanam, Matthew Brown, Elahe Hiptoola, Wendy Knill, Sarita Patil, Praful Salunke and Rajesh Shah. 8 x 10 Tasveer is written by Bohemia, Nagesh Kukunoor, Samee Siddiqui and Irfan Siddiqui and it is directed by Nagesh Kukunoor. Percept Picture Company acquired the distribution rights for the film. 8 x 10 Tasveer was released on 3rd April 2009 and takes a screen time of 119 minutes. 8 x 10 Tasveer was made on a budget of ₹35 crore and at the box office it grossed only ₹15 crore. Cinematography was done by Vikas Shivraman and editing by Sanjib Datta, Apurva Asrani and Bunty Nagi. The music was composed by Filmfare Award winner Salim Merchant along with Sulaiman Merchant, Salim Sulaiman, Bohemia, Neeraj Shridhar and Salim-sulaiman.
