Anek was Produced by Anubhav Sinha, Bhushan Kumar and Krishan Kumar. The motion picture is written and directed by Anubhav Sinha. AA Films acquired the distribution rights for the movie. Anek was released on 27th May 2022 and takes a screen time of 147 minutes. Anek was made on a budget of ₹47 crore and at the box office it grossed only ₹10 crore. The screenplay for the movie was written by Anubhav Sinha, Sima Agarwal and Yash Keswani. Cinematography was done by Ewan Mulligan and editing by Yasha Ramchandani. The music was composed by Anurag Saikia along with Mangesh Dhakde.
