A family locks away a malevolent spirit named Manjulika after she threatens their daughter-in-law, and years later, a woman named Reet hides in their deserted ancestral mansion, accompanied by a man who pretends that Reets spirit guided him there, ultimately leading to the revelation of Manjulikas twin sisters jealousy and hatred, and the familys fight against Manjulikas spirit with the help of a priest, resulting in Anjulikas spirit killing Manjulika and the familys departure from the mansion. T-Series in association with Cine1 Studios. were the production houses involved in the project along with executive producer(s) Bhushan Kumar, Krishan Kumar, Murad Khetani and Anjum Khetani. Bhool Bhulaiyaa 2 is written by Aakash Kaushik and Farhad Samji and it is directed by Farhad Samji and Anees Bazmee. AA Films acquired the distribution rights for the movie. Bhool Bhulaiyaa 2 was released on 20th May 2022 and takes a screen time of 145 minutes. Bhool Bhulaiyaa 2 was made on a budget of ₹65 crore.
