Saravanan helps his friend Senthil overcome the haunting of a mansion by devising a plan to trick a vengeful ghost possessing Senthils wife into leaving, leading to the uniting of two families. Chandramukhi is a 2005 Indian Tamil-language Comedy Fantasy film featuring Rajinikanth, Vadivelu, Prabhu Ganesan, Jyothika Sadanah, Nayanthara Kurian, Vineeth and Praharshita. The movie is inspired from Manichitrathazhu by Madhu Muttam. Sivaji Productions was the production house involved in the project along with executive producer(s) Prabhu Ganesan and Ramkumar Ganesan. The motion picture is written and directed by P Vasu and P. Vasu. Chandramukhi was released on 13th April 2005 and takes a screen time of 164 minutes. Chandramukhi was made on a budget of ₹19 crore.
