In this sequel to the 2020 film Cheeni, a housewife named Mishti and a spirited individual named Cheeni meet, leading them on a transformative journey of self-discovery, challenging societal norms and embracing their authentic selves, while learning the importance of empathy, compassion, familial bonds, and pursuing their dreams. Cheeni 2 is a 2023 Indian Bengali-language Comedy Drama motion picture featuring Madhumita Sarcar, Aparajita Adhya, Anirban Chakrabarti, Soumya Mukhherjee, Lily Chakravarty, Soumya Mukherjee and Madhumita Sarkar. Shree Venkatesh Films was the production house involved in the project along with executive producer(s) Shrikant Mohta and Mahendra Soni. The movie is directed by Mainak Bhaumik.
