Chup Chup Ke

A debt-ridden man fakes his own death but is mistaken for a mute and deaf person by fishermen who rescue him, leading to a series of events where he receives help to repay his debts, breaks off an unwanted marriage proposal, confesses his love for a mute girl, overcomes obstacles, and ultimately marries her. Chup Chup Ke is a 2006 Indian Hindi-language Comedy Drama motion picture featuring Shahid Kapoor, Kareena Kapoor, Suniel Shetty, Neha Dhupia, Rajpal Yadav, Paresh Rawal and Labeeb Arslaan. The movie is inspired from Punjabi House by Rafi Mecartin. UTV Motion Pictures was the production house involved in the project along with executive producer(s) Ronnie Screwvala. Chup Chup Ke is written by Priyadarshan Nair and Neeraj Vora and it is directed by Priyadarshan Nair and Kookie V. Gulati. UTV Motion Pictures acquired the distribution rights for the motion picture.
