The movie is inspired from Disney s Cinderella Cendrillon by Charles Perrault. Walt Disney Pictures in association with Kinberg Genre, Allison Shearmur Productions and Beagle Pug Films. were the production houses involved in the project along with executive producer(s) David Barron, Simon Kinberg and Allison Shearmur. Cinderella is written by Chris Weitz and Charles Perrault and it is directed by Kenneth Branagh. Walt Disney Studios acquired the distribution rights for the film. Cinderella was released on 20th March 2015 and takes a screen time of 106 minutes. Cinderella was made on a budget of $95 million and at the box office it grossed only $3 million. The screenplay for the movie was written by Chris Weitz. Cinematography was done by Haris Zambarloukos and editing by Martin Walsh. The music was composed by Patrick Doyle.
