A museum tour guide named Ted travels to Africa with a mischievous monkey to find an ancient idol in order to save his struggling museum, and after facing various obstacles, they succeed in reopening the museum and embark on a global adventure together. Curious George is a 2006 English-language Animation Adventure motion picture starring Will Ferrell, Drew Barrymore, David Cross, Eugene Levy, Joan Plowright, Dick Van Dyke and Jan Rabson. The movie is inspired from Curious George by H.A. Rey Margret Rey Alan J. Shalleck. Curious George was Produced by Ron Howard, David Kirschner and Jon Shapiro. Curious George is written by Ken Kaufman, Mike Werb, Margret Rey and H.a. Rey and it is directed by Matthew O Callaghan and Matthew O callaghan. Universal Pictures acquired the distribution rights for the film. Curious George was released on 1st June 2006 and takes a screen time of 87 minutes. The Film was successful at box office. Curious George was made on a budget of $50 million and it was a hit at box office gross of $69 million. The screenplay for the movie was written by Ken Kaufman. Editing was done by Julie Rogers.
