Fruit Basket: Prelude is a 2022 Japanese Japanese-language Animation Drama film featuring Miyuki Sawashiro, Yoshimasa Hosoya, Manaka Iwami, Nobunaga Shimazaki, Yuma Uchida, Lydia Mackay and Jad Saxton. The movie is inspired from Fruits Basket by Natsuki Takaya. TMS Entertainment was the production house involved in the project. The movie is directed by Yoshihide Ibata. Avex Pictures acquired the distribution rights for the film. The motion picture has a running time of 88 minutes. The screenplay for the movie was written by Taku Kishimoto. Cinematography was done by Baek Ryun Chae and editing by Aya Hida. The music was composed by Masaru Yokoyama.
