Two feuding families garden gnomes come to life and cause chaos, leading to a forbidden love between the son and daughter of the families that ultimately unites them. Touchstone Pictures in association with Rocket Pictures. were the production houses involved in the project along with executive producer(s) Baker Bloodworth, Steve Hamilton Shaw and David Furnish. Gnomeo & Juliet is written by Rob Sprackling, Johnny Smith, Andy Riley, Kevin Cecil, Kelly Asbury, Steve Hamilton Shaw, Mark Burton, Emily Cook, Kathy Greenberg and William Shakespeare and it is directed by Kelly Asbury. Walt Disney Studios acquired the distribution rights for the movie. Gnomeo & Juliet was released on 3rd March 2011 and takes a screen time of 84 minutes. The Film was successful at box office. Gnomeo & Juliet was made on a budget of $36 million and it was a super hit at box office gross of $193 million.
