Dharma Productions in association with Zee Studios. were the production houses involved in the project along with executive producer(s) Karan Johar, Zee Studios, Hiroo Yash Johar and Apoorva Mehta. Gunjan Saxena: The Kargil Girl is written by Nikhil Mehrotra and Sharan Sharma and it is directed by Sharan Sharma. Netflix acquired the distribution rights for the film. Gunjan Saxena: The Kargil Girl was released on 12th August 2020 and it received positive reviews from critics when it was released. Cinematography was done by R. Dee and editing by Aarif Sheikh. The music was composed by Amit Trivedi along with Gulraj Singh, Ishaan Chhabra and John Stewart Eduri.
