Detectives investigate a series of gruesome murders with evidence pointing to the deceased Jigsaw killer, leading them to question if he has found a way to continue killing from beyond the grave. Jigsaw is a 2017 American English-language Crime Horror film featuring Matt Passmore, Callum Keith Rennie, Cl Bennett, Hannah Emily Anderson, Tobin Bell, Clé Bennett and Bonnie Siu. Twisted Pictures was the production house involved in the project along with executive producer(s) Mark Burg, Oren Koules and Gregg Hoffman. Jigsaw is written by Josh Stolberg and Peter Goldfinger and it is directed by Peter Spierig and The Spierig Brothers. Lionsgate Films acquired the distribution rights for the movie. Jigsaw was released on 2nd November 2017 and takes a screen time of 92 minutes. The Film was successful at box office. Jigsaw was made on a budget of $10 million and it was a super hit at box office gross of $102 million. Cinematography was done by Ben Nott and editing by Kevin Greutert. The music was composed by Charlie Clouser.

Coming out of the theater, this installment of the franchise reminded me of Friday the 13th Part VI: Jason Lives, a film that while not good, was able to bring some form of entertainment for the masses that had been missing from the films. ( Read More )
