A young German boys belief in Nazism is challenged when he discovers a Jewish girl hiding in his late sisters bedroom towards the end of WWII. The movie is based on Caging Skies by Christine Leunens. Fox Searchlight Pictures in association with TSG Entertainment, Defender Films and Piki Films. were the production houses involved in the project along with executive producer(s) Taika Waititi, Carthew Neal and Chelsea Winstanley. The movie is written and directed by Taika Waititi. Fox Searchlight Pictures acquired the distribution rights for the movie.
