In a burned and dilapidated house, a poet named Him and his wife Mother invite a couple and their two sons to stay with them, but the arrival of a crystal object leads to a series of chaotic and violent events, ultimately ending with the destruction of the house and Mothers rebirth. Mother is a 2017 American English-language Drama Horror motion picture starring Jennifer Lawrence, Javier Bardem, Ed Harris, Michelle Pfeiffer, Christina De Leon and Matthew P Camacho. Protozoa Pictures was the production house involved in the project along with executive producer(s) Ari Handel and Scott Franklin. The movie is written and directed by Darren Aronofsky. Paramount Pictures acquired the distribution rights for the movie. Mother was released on 6th June 2017 and takes a screen time of 121 minutes.
