A new English teacher becomes popular with students and teachers, but when he unites teachers against school management, media involvement in extracurricular activities puts pressure on students and impacts their mental health, leading them to go on strike. Paathshaala is a 2010 Indian Hindi-language film starring Shahid Kapoor, Ayesha Takia and Nana Patekar. Paathshaala was Produced by Ahmed Khan and Shaira Khan. The movie is directed by Milind Ukey. Eros Entertainment acquired the distribution rights for the motion picture. Paathshaala was made on a budget of ₹14 crore and it was a hit at box office gross of ₹17 crore. The screenplay for the movie was written by Ahmed Khan. Cinematography was done by Basha Lal and editing by Ashfaque Makrani. The music was composed by Hanif Sheikh.
