A couple, Nyles and Sarah, meet at a wedding and find themselves stuck in a time loop, where they try in vain to escape, while Nyles is pursued by a man named Roy; eventually, they become friends and have fun together, but tension arises when Sarah learns about Nyles previous romantic encounters in the loop, causing him to become despondent until he discovers Sarahs affair with Abe, leading Sarah to study how to break the loop and plan her own suicide, but Nyles has a change of heart and races to be with her, confessing their love and sharing a kiss as Sarahs plan succeeds, only to be caught by the people whose house they were in; however, Roy realizes that their plan worked when he receives a voicemail from Sarah. Palm Springs was Produced by Chris Parker, Andy Samberg, Akiva Schaffer, Becky Sloviter, Jorma Taccone and Dylan Sellers. The movie is directed by Max Barbakow. Hulu acquired the distribution rights for the movie. Palm Springs was released on 24th September 2021 and takes a screen time of 90 minutes. and it received positive reviews from critics when it was released. Palm Springs was made on a budget of $5 million and at the box office it grossed only $1 million. The screenplay for the movie was written by Andy Siara.
