A woman in war-torn Tehran experiences strange occurrences and haunted nightmares as she stays with her daughter, but eventually escapes the evil spirit with her daughter, though the possibility of the haunting continuing remains. Under the Shadow is written by Babak Anvari and Theresa Buchheister and it is directed by Babak Anvari. XYZ Films acquired the distribution rights for the movie.
