World War Z

A former UN investigator, Gerry Lane, must navigate through various cities, team up with scientists and military personnel, and overcome dangerous situations to find the origin of a zombie virus and ensure the creation of a vaccine, ultimately reuniting with his family in a safe zone. World War Z is a 2013 American English-language Action Adventure motion picture starring Brad Pitt, Mireille Enos, James Badge Dale, Matthew Fox, Daniella Kertesz, Ludi Boeken and Angela Valley. The movie is based on World War Z by Max Brooks. Skydance Productions in association with Hemisphere Media Capital, GK Films, Plan B Entertainment and 2DUX. were the production houses involved in the project along with executive producer(s) Brad Pitt, Dede Gardner, Ian Bryce and Jeremy Kleiner. World War Z is written by Matthew Michael Carnahan, Drew Goddard, Damon Lindelof, J. Michael Straczynski and Max Brooks and it is directed by Marc Forster. Paramount Pictures acquired the distribution rights for the film. World War Z was released on 21st June 2013 and takes a screen time of 116 minutes. The Film was successful at box office. World War Z was made on a budget of $190 million and it was a super hit at box office gross of $540 million. The screenplay for the movie was written by Matthew Michael Carnahan, Drew Goddard and Damon Lindelof. Cinematography was done by Ben Seresin and editing by Roger Barton and Matt Chesse. The music was composed by Marco Beltrami.
