The series is inspired from Roswell High by Melinda Metz. Amblin Television in association with My So-Called Company, Bender Brown Productions, CBS Television Studios and Warner Bros. Television. were the production houses involved in the project. CBS Television Distribution acquired the distribution rights for the series. Creator of the series is Carina Adly MacKenzie.
