The Defected

Inspector Sheung Sing survives a traumatic head injury caused by an undercover cop, Bingo, who is working for Chief Superintendent Man Hei-wah, as Bingo accidentally shot Sing while trying to confront Chief Man about his abuse of power and disregard for police lives; however, Chief Man, engaged in a power struggle with other police officials, sets Bingo free to gather intelligence during operations to gain favor and secure her position, leading Bingo and Sing to join forces to gather evidence of Chief Mans negligence but they are ultimately shot down in their pursuit. The Defected is a 2019 Cantonese-language Crime television series featuring Benjamin Yuen, Kara Wai, Philip Keung, Sisley Choi, Ben Wong, Grace Wong and Shiu Hung Hui. Creator of the series is Chu Kang-ki. The show has a running time of 45 minutes for each episode. The music was composed by Alan Cheung.
