The Investigation

An investigator in the Mumbai Crime branch realizes he is the perpetrator of a murder and must decide whether to confess or shift the blame, leading him to dive deeper into the case to uncover if it was accidental or part of a larger conspiracy, facing challenges and risking his life as he gets closer to the truth, with his wife playing a possibly involved role, creating suspense and intrigue. The Investigation is a 2019 hindi-language Crime Mystery series starring Kenneth Branagh, Prakash Ramchandani, Leena Jumani, Aryamann Seth and Hiten Tejwani. Left Bank Pictures in association with Yellow Bird and TKBC. were the production houses involved in the project along with executive producer(s) Daniel Ahlqvist, Simon Moseley and Sanne Wohlenberg. The Investigation is written by Henning Mankell, Richard Cottan, Peter Harness and Richard Mcbrien and it is directed by Philip Martin, Niall Maccormick and Benjamin Caron. Series originally aired on BBC One in hindi. The Investigation was released on 3rd February 2019 and takes a screen time of 89 minutes for each episode. Cinematography was done by Anthony Dod Mantle, Jan Jonaeus, Igor Martinovic and Lukas Strebel and editing by Tony Cranstoun, Kristina Hetherington and Tim Porter. The music was composed by Martin Phipps along with Vince Pope.
