The Walking Dead is a popular TV drama about a group of survivors led by Sheriff Deputy Rick Grimes who navigate a post-apocalyptic world overrun by zombies while seeking shelter, resources, and a better future. The Walking Dead is a 2010 American English-language Drama Horror series featuring Andrew Lincoln, Jon Bernthal, Sarah Wayne Callies, Laurie Holden, Jeffrey Demunn, Steven Yeun and Lindsley Register. The series is inspired from The Walking Dead by Robert Kirkman Tony Moore Charlie Adlard. Idiot Box Productions in association with Circle of Confusion, Skybound Entertainment, Valhalla Entertainment and AMC Studios. were the production houses involved in the project along with executive producer(s) Jolly Dale, Caleb Womble, Paul Gadd and Heather Bellson. The series premiered on October 31, 2010 in English on AMC. AMC Networks acquired the distribution rights for the television series. Creator of the series is Frank Darabont. The Walking Dead has 10 seasons and a cumulative total of 146 episodes which have a running time of 41-67 minutes each. The television show made a box office gross of $2 million. Cinematography was done by Rohn Schmidt, David Boyd, Michael E. Satrazemis, Stephen Campbell and David Tattersall and editing by Julius Ramsay, Hunter M. Via, Avi Youabian, Dan Liu, Nathan Gunn, Rachel Goodlett Katz and Kelley Dixon. The music was composed by Bear Mccreary.
