Maharaja is a 1998 Indian Hindi-language Family Adventure motion picture featuring Govinda, Manisha Koirala, Raj Babbar, Shakti Kapoor, Salim Ghouse, Aruna Irani and Babbanlal Yadav. Shashi Sumeet Productions was the production house involved in the project along with executive producer(s) Mohit Sharma. Maharaja is written by Shravan Rathod, Nadeem Akhtar Saifi, Anil Sharma and Shyam Goel and it is directed by Anil Sharma. Navchitra Productions acquired the distribution rights for the movie. Maharaja was released on 4th September 1998. Maharaja was made on a budget of ₹5 crore and it was a hit at box office gross of ₹6 crore. Cinematography was done by Anil Dhanda and editing by Mohit Sharma. The music was composed by Nadeem Akhtar Saifi along with Nadeem-shravan.
