Dev proposes to Shalu, but after his death in a robot attack, Jayant becomes engaged to another woman, Monica, with whom he has an affair and conspires to murder, only to discover Monica is still alive, leading to a series of deaths and revelations ultimately exposing the true culprit and leaving Jayant in a dangerous predicament.
