A young girl named Kallu is set on visiting the Sabarimala temple but encounters financial difficulties after her fathers suicide, leading her to embark on the journey with her friend Piyoosh and a police officer they believe to be the deity Ayyappan. Malikappuram is a 2023 Indian Malayalam-language Action Drama film featuring Unni Mukundan, Saiju Kurup, Deva Nandha, Sreepath, Ramesh Pisharody, Manoj K. Jayan and Sharun. Malikappuram was Produced by Neeta Pinto and Priya Venu. Malikappuram is written by Abhilash Pillai and directed by Vishnu Sasi Shankar. Kavya Film Company acquired the distribution rights for the motion picture. Malikappuram was released on 30th December 2022 and takes a screen time of 121 minutes. Cinematography was done by Vishnu Narayanan and editing by Shameer Muhammed. The music was composed by Ranjin Raj.
