Action Crime Thriller
A tough cop in London must apprehend a serial killer targeting police officers while dealing with personal issues and seeking insight from a police-appointed shrink. Blitz is a 2011 English-language Action Crime motion picture starring Jason Statham, Paddy Considine, Aidan Gillen, Zawe Ashton, David Morrissey, Ned Dennehy and Bob Glouberman. The movie is based on Blitz by Ken Bruen. Davis Films in association with Lipsync Productions. were the production houses involved in the project along with executive producer(s) Steven Chasman, Zygi Kamasa, Donald Kushner and Brad Wyman. Blitz is written by Nathan Parker and Ken Bruen and it is directed by Elliott Lester. Lionsgate UK acquired the distribution rights for the film. Blitz was released on 15th September 2011 and takes a screen time of 97 minutes. The film made a box office gross of $11 million. Cinematography was done by Rob Hardy and editing by John Gilbert. The music was composed by Ilan Eshkeri.
