A talented cricketer named Arjun Talwar from Chandigarh quits the sport after a misprint in his selection, starts working in the food sector, gets married, and has a son, but eventually makes a triumphant comeback to cricket despite facing corruption charges and battling heart failure. Jersey is a 2022 Indian Hindi-language Drama Sport film starring Shahid Kapoor, Mrunal Thakur, Pankaj Kapur, Shivam Sharma, Geetika Mehandru, Kuku Diwan and Ajoy Chakraborty. The movie is inspired from Jersey by Tinnanuri. Jersey was Produced by Allu Aravind, Dil Raju, Suryadevara Naga Vamsi and Aman Gill. The movie is written and directed by Gowtam Tinnanuri. Balaji Motion Pictures acquired the distribution rights for the film. Jersey was released on 22nd April 2022 and takes a screen time of 170 minutes. Jersey was made on a budget of ₹35 crore and at the box office it grossed only ₹27 crore. Cinematography was done by Anil Mehta and editing by Naveen Nooli. The music was composed by Anirudh Ravichander along with Sachet-parampara.
