The Martian is a 2015 English-language Adventure Drama film starring Matt Damon, Jessica Chastain, Kristen Wiig, Jeff Daniels, Michael Peña, Sean Bean and Brad Jacobowitz. The Martian was Produced by Aditya Sood, Mark Huffam, Michael Schaefer and Simon Kinberg. The Martian is written by Drew Goddard and Andy Weir and it is directed by Ridley Scott. The Martian was released on 1st October 2015 and it received positive reviews from critics when it was released and became successful at box office. The Martian was made on a budget of $108 million and it was a super hit at box office gross of $630 million. The music was composed by Harry Gregson-williams.
